We’re looking for volunteer interviewers from all backgrounds to help us screen applicants for our 2025 program! No prior experience? No problem! We’ll provide an interview outline, scorecard, and program details—so it’s easy to get started.

The only requirements for Patent Pathways® Interviewers are to be located in the United States and have access to video calls. Familiarity with United States patent law, the Patent Pathways® program, and prior experience interviewing candidates is helpful, but not necessary as we will provide the information and questions you’ll need to successfully screen candidates.
Interview duties will take places over the course of April and May leading up to our June 2025 program launch. Interviewers have the flexibility to schedule their interviews according to their availability. Each interview will have two interviewers on the call to help remove bias and ensure a thorough screening.
Screening interviews take about 15 minutes per candidate, while secondary interviews take 1 hour. Please also allow time to complete your scorecard and notes to send over to the Admissions Committee.
